It’s been another fantastic year. After moving to Perth in 2011, our wedding photography business has grown quickly. We are so grateful to all of our clients for referring their friends and family to us. We’re so thankful to you for thinking of us.

This year we welcomed our first child, Ronan into the world. Charlotte and I couldn’t be happier to be new parents and we love him to bits!

How much fun is the wedding planning process?! OK, I’ll admit,  it can be a bit overwhelming. But all of the possibilities are just so exciting. Do we want photos on the beach or an urban feel? What style do we want for our reception, sophisticated or simple and elegant? And the food, there must be amazing food!

What if we told you that at Salt on the Beach you can have it all! This gorgeous venue offers so much. Not to mention your guests will enjoy a stunning ocean view. We were lucky enough to be the featured photographers for the Salt on the Beach Open Evening and Wedding Show last week! If you’re considering a fabulous wedding location in North Fremantle, look no further. Salt on the Beach may be for you, it is a stunning locale to host your special day!

At the Salt on the Beach Open House, we had a great chance to photograph the venue and show off some of favourite wedding albums.

We really enjoyed chatting to the future couples and some of the other featured guests like Angela and Leah from Mitchell & Dent. This company specializes in beautiful paper wares, such as charming letterpress invites and unique thank you cards.

You can see there is a lot of possibility when it comes to Salt on the Beach in North Freo. All you need is your imagination to make your wedding day dream become a reality!

When couples first get engaged there’s usually a pretty amazing few days where their heads are spinning. If you’ve been engaged I’m sure you can identify with this experience!

Recently I received a phone call from Liam. He told me he was planning a proposal to his girlfriend in Kings Park in a couple of weeks and wanted to not only have it captured discreetly, but also he wanted to organize an engagement session for the following day. What a cool idea right?!

We planned to start their shoot at UWA, but as we were driving down Mounts Bay Road we noticed that the Swan River was in full flood, almost completely covering the jetty out to the Blue Boathouse, so we had to pull over and start there instead! Doesn’t it look amazing?!

As you can see, Carly & Liam are a tall, sporty couple, so the idea of them running on water appealed to me. I love this next shot…

After a few more portraits we headed into Perth CBD and had a lot of fun walking the back alleys around King Street & Wolf Lane.

The chemistry between these guys is so obvious – one minute they’re rough housing, then their dancing the tango, only to turn around and be taking the mikey out of each other!  No matter what, they’re always having fun together.

Isn’t Carly’s look in this next photo amazing?

Love this next shot – one of my favourites from the session. It’s always really cool to have some shots that will sit on the couple’s wall as an architectural piece as well as a window into how they really feel towards each other.

We had some fun in some of the more rustic, grungy alleyways too… What do you think of this next photo with the role reversal?

Something that nearly always happens is that as a session goes on is that the couple settle into a quiet, happy zen state together. It’s always a privilege to see this and be able to create some more relaxed, sensitive portraits.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the photos – please leave your comments below – Let us know which is your favourite picture.

If you’re planning a wedding (or even thinking about planning a wedding in the near future 😉 ) then this is a company well worth taking note of.

Touched By Angels are one of Perth’s very best wedding and event planning companies. Every time we’ve had the privilege to photograph a wedding they’ve designed we’re blown away by the creativity, attention to detail and incredible effort that every single member of the team puts in.

Recently Salli and her amazing team revamped and relaunched their website and we were honoured to be asked to create their team photo.

The shoot took place in the gorgeous Indiana Tea House. As the sun went down we created fun, relaxed portraits of each team member as well as the team shot.

To read more about their company click on the image to the right… We’re sure you’ll agree that they’ve created a fun place to find out about their team.

So excited to announce that Tabitha and Cody’s awesome wedding at Christ Church in Claremont and The Hilton in Perth has won Perth Bride of the Year. Perth Bride Magazine is one of Perth’s best resources for everything wedding. Tabitha and Cody had a gorgeous day and it was an absolute delight to be the one to create their wedding images for them.
