Bianca + Jack are a match made in heaven. Both have a quirky sense of humour, love to show their affection for the other in unique ways, and both are creatives… Their chosen paths of Food, Fashion + Radio respectively. With careers they love, both sharing a passion for travel and all the while experiencing new things.
They met late one night in New York. They had instant chemistry… The only problem was they lived on opposite sides of the planet. But then, it’s not hard to convince a girl to try living in Australia for a while. And now here they are… Marrying at an incredibly personalized, fun filled wedding.
Bianca looked gorgeous in her vintage, raw silk gown. She wore a crown of fresh flowers with her hair in a loose up do.
Her florals were all so vibrant yet light hearted and airy.
The guys started the day right. Jamming and playing chess.
The ceremony was held in and industrial chic warehouse space and the celebrant was Jack’s close friend, Jeremy. You might have heard of these guys on air as Cackling Jack & Web Geezer Jez. Jeremy joked casually about having overseen Jack and Bianca’s relationship because he’d been there on the fateful night they first met, and accompanied them on their first date. There’s definitely something special about having a close friend run your ceremony – I should know, I had my dad marry Charlotte and I.
Bianca was walked down the aisle by her incredibly proud father….
The ceremony was filled with so much joy, laughter and life.
You can see the love and friendship in the couples eyes – both radiating so much happiness.
After very meaningful and heartfelt vows, the sealed the deal with a spectacular first kiss.
And made one of the coolest departures ever. Rice anyone?!
The back alleys around their venue provided completely unique, cool texture to their wedding photos.
There’s something that really shows the character of a city when you step into the alleyways.
It’s so nice to see a couple looking this content.
I was stoked that Bianca was willing to lie down on the floor to create something of a unique wedding photo!
And Jack got in on the act too.
The newlyweds look absolutely perfect together don’t they?
Nothing like an impromptu dance session… and Jack coped the outcome of less than ideal wind conditions.
Arriving back at their venue the newly married couple were greeted by Hamish & Andy & crew…
To set up a surprise guest all the way from New York!!!
I just love the energy of this group – Pure excitement.
Their reception space is an industrial chic warehouse space. Their flowers were simple, elegant and left room for conversation and good times.
If you’ve been listening to Hamish and Andy this week, you’ll know Jack’s in the world’s best rock band Cool Boys and the Frontman. Before he was famous there he was playing intimate weddings 😉 He sang a beautiful song he’d written about theirrelationship to Bianca and had the whole room in stitches.
After an incredible meal and fantastic speeches the party really got started when everyone had a go at the Piñata!
The first dance was incredible. Romantic, real and amazing. Just like the whole day.
Bianca’s dance with her father was so emotional and gorgeous too.
The party turned much wilder once “Ryana Ross” (Aka Ryan Shelton)
And DJ Monkey made an appearance and delivered dozens of cans of silly string to the guests to take it up another notch!
A messy, awesome night. A wedding I won’t ever forget.
