Every couple has a story… how they met… when they first fell for each other… and they’re always slightly different from each perspective…
Nathan and Erin’s story is very cute… Nathan jokes that when they first met, both working at Ascot Racecourse, he should have enjoyed being the boss longer 😉
Jokes aside, these two are like giddy children… the whole day they were so affectionate and cuddly. It’s so easy to photograph people as in love as these two.
Appropriately, these guys decided to have their wedding reception in the members lounge on the ground level of Ascot Racecourse. It’s a stunning room, and I’ll certainly share some great venue pictures with you further down in the post.. but first, some of the best photos of the day… Enjoy!
The Members Lounge is Perth Racing’s exclusive upmarket lounge and makes an awesome wedding venue. It’s located at the ground level of Ascot Racecourse, so it’s easy to step outside to enjoy the stars and soak in the fresh air.
Here are a few room pictures to give you a sense of how the room can work. The rich red walls give a great pop to the room, and the crown moulding adds an elegance. there are a lot of TVs mounted on the walls – I can see that being a cool way to feature content if you chose to have a Same Day Wedding Slideshow / Same Day Edit or a Love Story.
The hor derves and food all night was awesome. Here are a few photos of the tables settings and food to give you a sense of it… makes your mouth water a little bit, no?
The head table has a really nice view looking through the room. Great sense of space eh.
The night was filled with great speeches and lots of ribbing and laughter.
One of the highlights of the night was the having Chris Murphy perform. If you don’t know who Chris is, check out some of his performances on Australian Idol in 2006. Here’s him singing one of my favourite Crowded House songs…
There’s really not a cooler way to enter your wedding than having on of Perth’s best singers rocking a ballad.
Erin & Nathan’s first dance looked absolutely magical under this modern art chandelier.
Before wrapping up the night I asked the newlyweds to join me outside for a moonlit photo of them standing by the grandstand. I love this shot so much!
Thanks for checking out the post… I can’t wait to share the ceremony photos with you all.
