I’m very very excited to post Brooke & Warren’s wedding. It was a perfect day in Perth… hot as it can be in Feb, but with a strong offshore breeze.Their ceremony took place at Harold Boas Gardens in West Perth, we then headed down to East Perth for their wedding photos, and ended up at Ascot Quays for their reception.
Brooke found us online while we were still in Canada and booked us after a couple of emails and skype chats… So when I arrived at her door on Saturday it was lovely to be able to put a face to the name 🙂 I felt at home with Brooke and her family so quickly.
Without further ado I’m pleased to share Brooke and Warren’s Perth wedding photos with you.
Brooke has the most stunning engagement ring… the diamond is absolutely flawless and sparkled like nothing else! I thought it would be really nice to also incorporate her grandma’s diamond rings (something borrowed) into the photo.
I love doing sexy shot shots… and I have to say, I rather love how this photo turned out… Fun right?
Brooke and Warren’s daughter, Abbey is the sweetest thing… she saw mummy’s wedding dress and was so intrigued by it!
Another adorable portrait of little Abbey… honestly the most well behaved kid I’ve ever met. What a sweetheart.
Brooke arrived to her wedding ceremony at Harold Boas Garden in a gorgeous 1950’s Bentley. The open air ceremony took place in the top park of the park and the lighting was incredible.
The unique angles available in Harold Boas Garden makes from some amazing wedding photography… isn’t this next photo stunning… What a special place to tie the knot.
The vows and ring exchange.. lovely.
A beautiful signing of the registry photograph.
What an adorable family 🙂
As we wrapped up the family portraits at Harold Boas, the newly weds jumped into their Bentley and had a quiet moment together. I think this is my favourite photo of the wedding day.
The wedding party were and awesome crew. We all headed down to Claisebrook Cove in East Perth for the official wedding photos. There were so many gorgeous locations in the one park. We were able to get all the photos done in a relaxed and timely manner and managed to stay in the shade for most of it 🙂
It was one of Brooke’s goals for the wedding photography to have the Perth skyline in the shots, so she was really excited when we were able to accomplish that even with the strong back light.
As you can see, Brooke’s bridesmaid’s spent almost all of the day cracking her up.
During each wedding I always try to create completely new and creative poses and angles… I’m very proud of this next photo for that reason. I love the relaxed vibe – it’s a perfect fit for this down to earth, easy going couple.
This wedding is my first since being back in Perth from Canada over the last couple of years and I had forgotten how awesome the lighting is here… isn’t this background ethereal?!
The boys decided to try their own creative wedding photo, and I’m never one to stop a good laugh.
This was my first wedding at Ascot Quays and I have to say I was totally blown away. They have a stunning room with really nice outdoor areas for smokers. Check out the view from the penthouse suite patio.. insane right?!
The reception looked incredible, and they had the most beautiful cake.
As the sunset happened we headed outside and grabbed this fantastic wedding photo to end the day… Love it.
